Join SDAC

Some Good Reasons for Joining...

  • Member societies can apply to SDAC for grants.  SDAC obtains the bulk of this funding from Stafford Borough Council for which we are very grateful. Such grants mean that societies can recoup their £20 per annum membership fee many times over.
  • Each member society has a vote at General Meetings and at the Annual General Meeting.  Member societies can, by participating in debates and voting, help to shape policy.  By attending these meetings societies can keep up to date with local developments.  Representatives of member societies can also be members of the Executive Committee.
  • SDAC is represented on Stafford Borough policy and events groups, such as the Cultural Strategy Committee and the Film Festival Committee.  Thus, member societies are part of an organisation which helps to shape arts matters in the Borough area.  SDAC will be stronger the more societies it represents.
  • As a member, your society can use this web site to promote your activities and events as well as getting information about other societies and links.
  • Your society can reach out to more people by listing details of its activities on the SDAC website.
  • As a member, your society will be part of an organisation that helps to promote and market the arts in Stafford Borough.
